We understand that patients that come to Integrative Health Institutes have a wide range of familiarity with this type of medicine and hope that this will help you to understand what to expect on your journey to wellness in our center. Integrative Health Institutes was established in 2005 with the intent to provide comprehensive, individualized care for all patients. Naturopathic medicine emphasizes the use of prevention and natural therapeutics. The doctors who practice naturopathic medicine, called naturopathic doctors (NDs), are trained to serve as primary care general practitioners who are experts in the prevention, diagnosis, management, and treatment of both acute and chronic health conditions.

That translates to longer time with the doctor at each visit and a detailed comprehensive typed out plan at each visit. Your experience will be unique, individualized and you will understand what comprehensive care is when you see our doctors. By scheduling longer visits you have more time to tell your story and help the doctor to understand your unique needs and concerns. 

 

 

The time you are treated varies from person to person. Treatment may require 2 weeks to 2 years. This is not a sprint, it is a marathon and your learning and wellness transform over time, as you are able to adopt new lifestyle techniques that will become habit over time. This approach is what makes Integrative Health Institutes unique in that it finds the underlying causes of your unique concerns, treats them, and establishes balance and improved overall health to prevent reoccurrence for lifelong health.
